We have been an established company in the Bergisch Land since 1972.
Our origin is in mechanical engineering. We manufacture production and automation systems on customer request. You have your product - we manufacture the production machine for you.
In the course of time we have developed into an agile company that offers solutions for its customers. We connect physics with the digital world. In each case individually or in combination.
Initially, many companies were united under one roof and from the year 2000 onwards they operated as Maschinenbau Kooperation Wuppertal. In 2003 we were awarded as best cooperation in the category production.
In 2018 the respective individual companies merged to form MKW GmbH Digital Automation.
Together we are strong
This bundles the energy of around 80 motivated employees. We cover a broad spectrum of professional competencies:
- High-level language programming (C# .Net, php, ...)
- Programming databases (MS-SQL, mySQL, mariaDB, ...)
- PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth, ...)
Since 2019, we have been producing a large part of the electricity for our site ourselves using photovoltaics. Parallel to this, the company's own fleet of vehicles is growing to include electric mobility (cars and bicycles).
Our company sport is covered by the "tempel wushu" for our employees. This rounds off the offer of break kicker and table tennis.
The annual suspension railway race is also a major event in which we have been participating since 2016.
In order to achieve maximum flexibility, from which you as a customer benefit, we regularly train our employees. This investment in the future offers a wide range of possibilities. So you do not have to wait long for a solution.
We also invest in a common future by participating in GirlsDay and Junior Uni. Some of our colleagues work as lecturers at the University of Bergisch Land and take the final examinations of the elective subject special mechanical engineering on our premises.
We are partners of many different groups in order to familiarize ourselves optimally with new techniques and to drive innovation. Only those who constantly break new ground can achieve new goals.
